🏐 Big City Volleyball Beginner Skills Class (6 Weeks) – BACK!

We’re excited to bring back our popular 6-week Beginner Skills Class for players 18+ who are new to volleyball or want to build a strong foundation.

This class is all about learning the game the right way—while having fun, meeting people, and building confidence on the court. Each week focuses on a core skill, paired with cooperative and competitive drills so you can learn, play, and grow together.

Class Schedule

Week 1 – Ball Control
• Platform Passing
• Hand Passing
• Arm Swing Basics

Week 2 – Serve & Receive
• Standing Float Serve
• Passing to Target
• Butterfly Drill

Week 3 – Defense
• Base Defense
• Perimeter Defense
• Butterfly Drill

Week 4 – Attacking & Blocking
• Spike Approach
• Blocking Footwork
• Cross Court Pepper

Week 5 – Rotations & Transition
• Intro to 5-1 & 6-2 rotations
• Out-of-system hitting & transition play
• USA Drill

Week 6 – Review & Scrimmage
• Skill Review
• Warmup
• Full Scrimmage
