Big City Volleyball is excited to announce the return of our Girls' Youth League, designed for players in grades 7-12 across Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. This league offers a fantastic opportunity to develop skills in a competitive environment and build a strong volleyball foundation. This is the perfect program for players who want to strengthen their skills and compete locally. For players with ambitions to join a club team down the road, this league provides the perfect bridge to higher-level play; players can hone their abilities with regular weekly practices and matches for less than the typical club program fee.

Registration for the Spring 2026 League includes:

• Weekly Practices
• Weekend Refereed Matches
• In-Season Festivities including Spirit Week and Prizes
• Professional Uniforms
• All players are guaranteed to play a minimum of 2 sets per match
• Experienced Big City VB Coaching Staff with collegiate experience + referees
• All-City Championship - May 17th, 2026 FOR TEAMS THAT QUALIFY

BONUS: Players in this program will receive a $300 DISCOUNT towards registration fees for Big City Volleyball's Regional Travel Club.

Returning Player Registration - Single Season:

• Entrance Fee: $900
• Early Bird Entrance Fee: $850
  All returning players from previous seasons are not required to try out and can save $50 when registering with the Returner Early Bird Discount available through January 19th!

New Player Registration - Single Season:

• Entrance Fee: $975
• Try-Out Fee: $25

All NEW players must attend one Try-Out to be considered for the league and should have prior playing experience on a school team or have taken our advanced youth volleyball classes or summer camps during the year.

• The $25 Registration fee is a TRYOUT FEE ONLY. All players must attend at least one tryout to be considered for the league.

For players accepted, the Girls' Youth League program will include:

• Spring 2026 Season: - Feb 23rd - May 17th
• 8 Weekly practices
• 8 Weekend Refereed Matches including Playoffs
• 2 divisions: 7-8th grade / 9-12th grade
• NO GAMES or PRACTICES on Private School or Public School Spring Break (3/16 - 4/11)
• Alternative Spring Break GYL Specific Programs Offered During Break
• Match Locations: Manhattan (Midtown West) / Brooklyn (Williamsburg) / Queens (Forest Hills)
• Match Days: Saturdays
• Match Time Frame: 10am - 6pm (Varies Depending on Borough)
• Once a Week Practice Days and Times : M-F between 6:00pm & 9:00pm
• Manhattan Practice location - Upper East Side (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)/ Upper West side (Tuesday, Wednesday)/ West Village (Tuesday)
• Brooklyn Practice location - Park Slope (Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday / Friday)
• Queens Practice location - Forest Hills (Monday / Friday)
• All-City Championship - May 17th FOR TEAMS THAT QUALIFY
